FAQs
-
We offer tutoring in-person within the comfort of your own home or online via a secure and interactive Google Meet video session.
-
The Initial Consultation is a complimentary, in-depth meeting designed to set clear goals, establish expectations, and tailor a learning plan. You can choose between an email exchange, a phone call, or a more comprehensive in-person meeting (recommended), which allows us to best understand your child's needs. Please head to our Contact Us page to book your free consultation today!
-
We match tutors based on your child's academic needs, learning style, and personality to build an effective working relationship. We also consider your preference for an in-person or online setting. If, for any reason, the relationship isn't working out, we will happily facilitate a switch to another tutor to ensure the best fit.
-
We do not use long-term lock-in contracts and require payment fortnightly or by-term. If you wish to pause or end the tutoring service, we simply require one week’s notice. For rescheduling or cancelling a single scheduled session, we require 24 hours notice to avoid the full session fee.
-
We generally recommend one 60-minute session per subject per week for consistent long-term progress. If your child requires extra support or is preparing for VCE exams, you have the option to extend the lesson time to 90 or 120 minutes or add further weekly sessions, which we can discuss during your consultation.
-
We don't use a one-size-fits-all model. We decide on the best setup during your consultation, customising the lesson structure around: 1) your child's learning style, 2) their specific needs (e.g., school homework support, targeted concept review, learning study habits etc), and 3) assigning revision homework for ongoing practice throughout the week.
